Treasury Bills

Short-term securities with maturity of one (1) year or less. A non-interest bearing instrument but issued on a discount from face value and is redeemable upon maturity of 100% face value. The amount of the discount and the length of time the bills are held before they mature imply some specific yield or return to the investor. These instruments are direct, unconditional and fully guaranteed obligations of the National Government. Treasury Bills are subject to the prevailing 20% withholding tax.

Fixed Rate Treasury Notes (FXTN) and Retail Treasury Bonds (RTB)

Debt instruments issued by the Philippine government with an unconditional promise to pay an amount stated on the face of the instrument plus accrued interest at specific future dates. These instruments are direct, unconditional and fully guaranteed obligations of the Republic of the Philippines. Coupons are paid on a semi-annual and quarterly basis respectively. Long-term investments of more than 1 year.

These instruments are direct, unconditional and guaranteed obligations of the issuing corporation. Coupons are paid either on a semi-annual or quarterly basis. Investment tenors are more than 1 year.

USD Sovereign Bonds
