Sterling Bank of Asia, in partnership with Visa has launched the first and only locally-issued US Dollar Debit card with EMV chip, the global standard for chip-based credit and debit card transactions. The Bank has been issuing cards embedded with EMV chip since 2008 when it first launched its line of prepaid and debit cards.
